Milo & I planned out an amazing end of school trip together. The two of us share an apartment in a sizable college town, where every one of us work and do school non-stop 7 mornings a week. Our jobs and classes are demanding, & it’s taxing to find free time. One night, while every one of us were reading articles about the top 10 break destinations, every one of us realized that neither of us had taken a trip in over 3 years. We decided to go for it, every one of us decided to change that! Milo and I deserved it! Together, every one of us booked an unbelievable getaway on an island where every one of us would spend a whole month drinking tequila & soaking up as much sunlight as possible. Milo and I made a booking for a villa overlooking the ocean. After a long day of airfare to get there, every one of us checked in & were shown to our room. My mouth dropped when every one of us realized there was no Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system, however it was so heated & humid outside, & there was no escaping the warmth of the room. I was glad, the villa gave us with two fans to keep cool at evening, but, it wasn’t the same as feeling the cool air after a long day on the sand. My best friend Milo & I were forced to take chilly showers to keep cool. What was supposed to be a unbelievable Spring trip, turned into a tepid & frizzy mess. The harsh temperatures outside were exhausting, & our villa gave no cool comfort.
