The year began with ending a two-year relationship when it was clear that we both wanted different things out of life, and then a month after the breakup, I found out that I was pregnant.
The only good thing about that period was that my event planning business was picking.
One night I woke up feeling feverish and went to look for an extra blanket. By morning I was burning up and had abdominal cramps, so I decided to head to the hospital on the way there. I called an a/c rep to check on the quality HVAC equipment, just in case. When I got to the hospital, I knew the worst had happened. I had not gotten around to telling my ex-partner we were expecting a child. I became antisocial and a workaholic. The house had too many memories, and I would burst into tears a little too often. Before I moved, I visited a cooling products business. The aim was to consult the company on different air conditioning systems. The a/c workman I met recommended a dual fuel system. I was lucky to find a house with a similar a/c installation with a higher SEER rating than I had anticipated. On top of that had an air purification system. I called the local HVAC supplier so that they could send a technician for a/c care to confirm that everything was fine before I moved in. Luckily no a/c repair was necessary; all he had to do was clean the air conditioning filter. I love the idea of having a washable filter. I could move into my new home with the a/c install unit in good condition.
