Asking my date HVAC questions

She reminded me that it makes men feel good to talk about and teach about something they know about and I should just take all of my Heating and A/C technology questions to my date

I’ll confess that I don’t know all that much about men or human nature. It’s a nice good thing my sister does and is willing to teach me. She saved me a big hassle when she came over the other day. I was researching Heating and A/C technology. I had started dating an Heating and A/C worker and I wanted to learn more about his job, we had been at a party the other night and he had met a fellow Heating and A/C worker. They started talking shop and I was left out of the conversation. Some people might think that was rude of my date, and maybe it was, although I still felt like an idiot sitting there without understanding a word they were saying. So, I decided to do a little research. At first, I didn’t even know what a furnace was! We are from a tropical region and air conditioning and heat usually come from the same source, a Heating and A/C unit on the side of the house. So, I expected to have to do a lot of research on Heating and A/C technology when my sister stopped by. She thought I was being just plain crazy. She recommended me to ask my date questions, instead of doing the research. She reminded me that it makes men feel good to talk about and teach about something they know about and I should just take all of my Heating and A/C technology questions to my date. I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of that. I suppose it’s because I entirely don’t know that much about men or human nature.
