I had a pretty awful dream about all my HVAC equipment breaking down on me. In the dream, I tried cleaning out the outdoor A/C condenser unit, but I forgot to shut off the power. I ended up getting electrocuted in the dream and I couldn’t get anything to work. The thermostat even ran out of battery power. Even when I went to change the batteries though, then the thermostat blew up in my face and I thought the whole HVAC system was going to explode with flames flying out from the ductwork. That’s when I woke up. When I ran to check the thermostat and all the components, everything was working just fine. I actually looked up my dream and the definition of it said that it meant I was worried about my HVAC equipment failing on me. This was true because I really don’t want to face something like that. I decided it would be best to get a hold of the HVAC company so that I would not have to deal with some sort of break down. If I learned anything from the dream, it’s that it would be best to leave this type of work to the professionals. When I had the HVAC technician over, he cleaned out all of the components, handled the tune-up, and I also got him to upgrade my thermostat to a smart one. I was really happy with his work. He even told me about HVAC system maintenance plans, so I decided to sign up for one. That HVAC maintenance plan has been fantastic and has been saving me a ton of money.
