For a while there copper was extremely valuable
I’m always really impressed with my family. We are extremely resourceful, innovative, and intelligent human beings. We work very hard and we are very determined. As much as I fawn over the personal strengths of my blood relatives there are also a lot of challenges between everybody. For instance, my oldest brother has gotten into a lot of trouble in his life. He was not always working on the up-and-up, to put things lightly. For many years he really tried all of us with his constant arrests and hooliganry. Nothing was spared from his reign of terror back in the day. This included all of our personal belongings down to our indoor air temperature control systems. I’ll never forget the day that we tried to use a cooling system only to find that my brother had completely taken it apart. He had such a mechanical mind that nobody was very surprised about his ability to disassemble the entire cooling system. When we found the air conditioning unit spread apart in pieces in the backyard we knew that my brother had been fiddling with the AC system. Not only was he inherently good at this kind of appliance work, but clearly he had been messing with the valuable component stored inside of the heating and cooling device. If you aren’t aware, air conditioning units have copper wiring in them. For a while there copper was extremely valuable. My brother went through and pulled out all of the copper from the air conditioning unit so that he could pawn it for money. When we went to use the AC system and found that the cooling unit had been destroyed… It was yet another dysfunctional testament to my family’s ingenuity.
