Burn to death before seeing the doctor

If you have a similar brain to the one I operate on, handling boring “adult” responsibilities and errands are some of the worst aspects of life.

I thought school was bad enough, but now, as a grown up, it’s much worse.

I feel like I’m always dealing with some mundane nonsense that eats up all my spare time. This is especially true when I have to worry about making doctor appointments. For me, the medical care errands are the biggest time and energy suck. You see, my preferred practitioner has a very uncomfortable doctor office. Every time I have to go visit them for my indoor allergies I know that I am going to be dealing with the most uncomfortable temperature control settings. The HVAC settings make absolutely no sense to me based on my own indoor air temperature control preferences. It is HOT. I don’t think they even use air filters in the allergy office, either. So, I always try to prepare for the hot and sweaty visit by dressing appropriately, but nothing will offset the heating system or boiling thermostat settings that mark the medical office. Every time I walk inside I burn right up, start sweating, and can’t cool down until I’m back in my own AC. I don’t know what is up with their indoor air temperature control plan, but it feels like a tropical nightmare. For me, doctors appointments are always going to be awful, But, turns out they’re a lot worse when you get so overheated that a new sickness pops up – heat sickness.
