Clean the AC component out

It’s no large surprise that humans need clean air to breathe, but did you know that your air conditioner also needs to have space to be able to get to clean air easily? That might sound very simple, but a lot of people have outside a/c units that are surrounded by trees, bushes, or shrubs, then having trees or dense foliage too close to your cooling system component is a large mistake, but these shrubs plus trees can severely restrict the airflow that your a/c needs to be able to run plus operate efficiently.

If you’re having higher a/c bills this Springtime plus Summer than you are used to having, try trimming up some of the trees plus bushes that are too close to your outside cooling system unit.

If you make sure that your trees are at least a foot or several away from your cooling system unit, it will help tremendously with the correct air flow that your a/c component needs… While you’re at it, you might also want to check around the base of your cooling system component to make sure that there isn’t any loose leaves, sticks, or debris that might get sucked into your unit. If you notice that the ground all around the outside of your a/c component has lots of dirt or debris clogging it up, or if you see lots of dead leaves around your unit, then you might want to call in your local Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C company to come out plus clean your Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C units for you, then your a/c component – plus your cooling system bills – will easily thank you for it!
