Living in a small town, there is not a whole lot that goes on.
However, on the weekends, you can usually find something to do. For example, this weekend the jazz festival is taking place in the town center. I usually just go to this little air conditioned bar to take a load off and watch local sporting events. Tonight there will be more going on outside so I may need to brave the heat & see what is happening. My shoulder is sore from hurting it last night, so playing any volleyball later is out of the question, however maybe I could go watch. It’s just entirely hot out so some place with cool temperature control, either indoors or outdoors, would legitimately be a good idea. Even though I take pleasure as a spectator watching people play volleyball in the sand, I think I may get the itch to play & it may do more harm than good to go over to the courts tonight. A lot of the local corporations are open tonight because they will have a greater crowd than normal & it will make them some good money if they are open during the jazz festival. My friend, who runs a local business, mentioned that he’d like to meet me at the jazz fest and grab a drink. I just want to do something straight-forward & not too late because my shoulder is taking a lot of energy to heal itself. Maybe the HVAC store has some kind of heating equipment I can get to heat up my shoulder after I ice it.
