I’ve been thinking that there’s something not right with our Heating, Ventilation and A/C system for a few months now.
It first started when I noticed our week to week utility bills increasing. I’ve been living in the same apartment for 3 years now, and our utility bills are officially the same each month. It was very different to see the number increase more and more. I’m usually in touch with our Heating, Ventilation and A/C system and take care of it as best as I can. I had a Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman come over for our new season checkup a few weeks ago, and he said everything looked fine to him, so I was confused. I did some looking around online, and saw a lot of homeowners were saying the air filter could be a major issue and link to a higher energy bill. After locating the cooling filter, I took it out and it didn’t look that bad. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman had changed it, so I had a hard time believing this was the cause of my high bills. It was causing myself and others so many issues that I decided to supply our Heating, Ventilation and A/C provider a call. A new HVAC serviceman showed up at our apartment than the last, and I let him in to take a gander around. He was in and out of our apartment in a few minutes when he found the issue. He said that I had a lot of small cracks and openings around our doors and windows.
