Ever since the new movie theater opened up in town last summer it has been the place to be.
My wife and I were not buying into the hype surrounding it, we decided to give it a shot so we bought tickets for the next showing. This theater is a bit different than other theatres, and the reason is that they don’t show the typical blockbusters that you see on television, but old indie films instead. We were pretty weary about the situation in all honest when we showed up to the venue. As we walked into the theatre and grabbed our seats however, we realized why people liked being here so much. The air conditioning was incredible! The seats were all lazy boys made of leather, and the cool and crisp air that the state of the art air conditioning system was creating made the leather on the seat cold as well, which was such a nice contrast on that hot summer evening. I ended up feeling so cool and relaxed that i actually slept through the movie. For tickets that were only $5 bucks a person though, getting to spend two hours with a state of the art a/c unit on blast and a comfy chair it was totally worth it. Even though my wife didn’t sleep and said that the movie was pretty terrible, I think that might be my new hang out spot during the warm summer evenings. A few bucks every week to stay cool is much more affordable than getting an a/c unit of that quality installed in my home from any HVAC heating and cooling business around here
