I woke up at 6 a.m as respected & headed straight to the shower as was our routine every workday. The hour the first drop of water hit our body, I jumped out so fast you would suppose I saw a ghost, however it was worse, the water was so freezing it felt like it was cutting through our skin. After checking everything I was sure that the boiler had to be the problem because even the entryway water was frigid. I made a mental note to call the heating company when I got to work, to come & do a possible boiler maintenance plus substitute the oil furnace filter which must be filthy because it was almost 5 weeks since it was substituted. Growing up, I watched our father repair the oil oil furnace whenever it had an issue however it is like I never l gained a thing. In our defense, I could argue that our central heating system had an electric oil furnace. She is retired now & lives far from myself and others so I do not have the luxury of calling him to repair anything. She is regularly checking out up-to-date Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C equipment & is never behind when it comes to heating technology. She regularly insists on having a quality Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C & annual oil furnace/heater tune-up, which is one thing I follow up on religiously. The whole day at work I kept avoiding people, not taking a shower had myself and others sniffing myself all day. The Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C repairman came later in the day, fixed the issue, & also evaluated the space heating system in the sunroom which was the latest addition that I had gotten from the heating & cooling provider.
