He does the writing for us while I handle all of the SEO

My partner and I compliment each other perfectly, and as the expression goes, he brings the steak, and I always give the sizzle! My partner Pat is a genuinely smart man, with a lot of great ideas, but his struggle in trying to communicate these ideas to other people.

So for our show he does most of the writing, and the heavy lifting of making the program, and I am the host, the person with flair, who makes the show come to life…

Then I also handle all the SEO and show promotion through the website, which is 1 of the main ways to grow our listenership… And there are so many weird facets to SEO I assume that I spend as much time on that as I do finally working on the actual show episodes. There are also several weird platforms for hosting and streaming podcasts and shows, and I need to make sure the setting, the visibility, the web design, and the SEO is narrow for all of them… Without great SEO then your show stays at the bottom of the search results page, and we all know what that actually means! How often do you absolutely make it to the bottom of the search results page? Tightening up that SEO, which is not a 1-time thing but an ongoing process you need to task on annually, is what helps bring you to the top of the results page. My partner needs to focus on the absolute big picture, and keep writing great material, and I will keep using SEO to get more people to pay attention to us.
