But it’s never cooled off here and so my wifey and I had been going back and forth on whether or not to sell… The other reality is that my friend and I are getting to the point where my friend and I realized that it was just too much house. The teenagers are all grown and we’re even new Grandfatherrents, and retirement is still years away however the home was getting tougher to keep up, and just the heating and cooling costs were crazy for just two people, still, my friend and I wavered because my friend and I knew that this was going to be a giant undertaking. Thankfully, it was the Heating and A/C specialist who settled it for us! Last Fall, the Heating and A/C specialist came out to do the heating repair like he constantly does. But this time, he told us our time was up on the old heat pump. My fantastic friend and I got nearly 30 years out of that old heat pump. This ended up being the tipping point for our decision on selling the house. My fantastic friend and I replaced the Heating and A/C equipment along with other renovations to our home. And my friend and I just listed it last week. Already, there have been offers however the realtor says those are just the start and this home is going to sell for a pile of money.
