High rise apartment is really hot

When I accepted my ideal task in the city, I was so pumped to find an amazing apartment.

As a gal who grew up in a small town, I’d consistently fantasized about living in a highrise apartment with incredible views of the outside.

I had photos saved on my computer of what I was looking for plus how I would style the interior. I was glad that our up-to-date manager commanded the best real estate agent in the town plus they understood exactly what I was looking for. We only had to tour a single apartment building before signing a single year lease. The best space was that it was under our desired budget, so I was super pumped to shop for decor with the extra cash. After a few weeks in our up-to-date apartment, I noticed how hot it got in there. If I didn’t keep our air conditioning running all the time while I was away at work, I’d come back to a sizzling plus stuffy highrise apartment. I could physically feel the heat increase as I’d go up the elevator. When it was muggy out, the heat plus humidity were suffocating. I’d been looking forward to keeping our windows cracked a bit plus letting the cool breeze flow throughout, while feeling on top of the world. I quickly realized that I had to keep the temperature on high plus use our portable fan to get the air moving. I couldn’t rest at night separate from the fan. When I got our first energy bill, I was upset with it.
