I called to have the air conditioner tune up done early this Spring.
Where I live, the pollen starts showing up on the car about the end of February. While my neighbors to the north are still shoveling snow & the gas heater is cranking, my associate and I are starting Spring. I constantly get the HVAC repair done each Spring to ensure that the heat pump is ready to handle the immense load of air conditioner that comes with Summer, however but my associate and I don’t entirely go right for the cooling when the temperatures near 79 like several folks in the community. It’s mid April & there is now a chorus of heat pumps singing during the peak heating hours of the afternoon. But by & large, my associate and I still keep the windows & doors open, and yet once the calendar flips to May, it’s all about air conditioner for the next four or five months, however and this year, I had a bit of a surprise for my family when it came to managing that air conditioner. When the HVAC contractor came out to do the air conditioner tune up, he also installed a smart thermostat; For sure, I wanted the latest in this HVAC technology to save us money. But I had an ulterior motive as well; My family was surprised by this HVAC technology addition to our home, and that’s because I’ve constantly been all over the thermostat setting. But now, my associate and I are going to lock out manually changing the thermostat & let the HVAC technology take over. I guess there has been plenty of jerking the thermostat around when I wasn’t enjoying. So surprise because that’s over.
