Have you ever felt like you were stuck in the middle of a spot with no way to get out of it? That feeling of being pushed in many different areas by people with no way to make everyone come away feeling happy. This is my exact situation. The people involved in my case are the corporate ladder people at our business plus the rest of the employees. I have a job in accounts plus part of my job is handling the chats between the numerous bosses. Trying to make sure that choices that upper management make work with the people that they will be affecting without disturbing the peace of the business. The last meeting I went to brought about some changes that are going to be difficult to talk about to the rest of the staff. Due to budget cuts they have decided to change the work week schedule to include longer hours but less days. This is all to cut back how much electric, water and HVAC we use. Now this means that people will be put on a 4 day rotating schedule plus be required to work more than nine hour days. Their days off will change plus many will not be real happy with that. By doing this the company will be able to use less of the HVAC because those departments that are free will not need to use lights, laptops, or the Heating and A/C idea as much while in the days off. Having full areas shut down on certain days will help out a lot.
