All our friends plus family classify me as a people pleaser, then i wish I wasn’t, although I just can’t say no to people or speak up with our own opinions. I hate conflict plus making people unhappy or uncomfortable, so I try plus find ways to avoid saying “no” at all costs. My family has tried to talk to me about the benefits of saying no plus sharing our opinions, although I find it unquestionably hard. I’d rather tolerate a situation rather than let someone down, however for example, I went to a friend’s house the other day for brunch, plus it was our first time at her site… When I walked inside, I could hear her cooling system running at full speed, she provided to take our coat, although I was hesitant to provide it up. Me being me, I gave her our coat plus instantly felt the goosebumps on our skin. It was freezing in her apartment! When I passed the temperature control on the wall, I saw that it was set to 67 degrees! I had never known anyone who willingly set their temperature control to such a low temperature. When we sat down for brunch, our friend asked me if I needed anything. I wanted to tell her that I was freezing, although I couldn’t bring myself to say that I wanted her to alter her own temperature control.
