I Had to Lose Weight to Get Pregnant But Then I Was Always Cold

For most of my life I have been quite overweight.

It wasn’t until I was forced to look in the mirror that I came to the decision that it was time to lose some of that weight.

My dentist told me that I needed to lose weight if I ever wanted to get pregnant, however I thought he was crazy. I knew of lots of women who were a lot bigger than me plus they had no troubles getting pregnant and delivering a healthy child. I couldn’t figure out why I was so different. He finally told me that I had to lose fifty pounds or pregnancy would elude me. I knew that I wanted to have a baby plus I was to the point that I was willing to try most anything to get pregnant, including giving up the delicious stuff that I loved so much. Six months later, I was down nearly fifty pounds when I discovered I was multiple weeks pregnant. I knew that pregnancy was going to make me gain weight again however I didn’t recognize that losing the weight was going to be worse than the pregnancy. I was vomiting constantly for the first multiple months. I was told that I would always feel super hot plus that I may have heat flashes. Instead of heat flashes, I started to always be feeling chilly. The dentist told me it was because of my weight loss. I was now turning off the air conditioning plus wrapping up in quilts. My fiance turned up the A/C when I turned it off plus the two of us ended up really getting into it over the temperature control. Instead of continuing to have arguments or fights regarding the AC, he purchased me a couple of warm chamois shirts so that I would have little cloth heaters of my own.
