I thought I wanted the job until I learned about the temperature control settings

Recently, I have been going to all different kinds of job interviews.

The last one I went to was a job I really wanted to get.

I was looking my absolute best with the 3-piece suit and tie. Well, when I walked into the building, it was absolutely freezing. I was glad that I was wearing my suit because it was so surprisingly cold inside, but I almost wished I had an actual coat on. Seriously, the air conditioning was blasting that much. I actually asked the secretary lady at the front desk if it was possible they could lower the air conditioning a little bit, but she said that the temperature control was handled by the corporate offices and there was nothing she could do. While I was waiting for my interview, I was actually feeling really nippy and I had goosebumps all over my body. When they called me in, I think that my teeth were chattering a little bit. When the interviewer was asking the questions, he could easily tell I was uncomfortable. He told me that he knew the air conditioning was way too high. He said that he hated the fact that the corporate offices felt the need to control the climate control system in the building. He said that was something I would have to get used to at this job. Even though the job seemed like such a great opportunity, with the frigid A/C blasting away like that regularly, I wasn’t sure if I could handle it! I think I would rather take a lesser job where the climate control system was more comfortable.
