When I started my Heating & A/C device corporation I didn’t have certification.
Most of the Heating & A/C professionals that I hired had no certifications either! I’m not saying that I didn’t know the people I was with and I should eventually have certifications however it just wasn’t pressing at that time.
After multiple weeks of working for me, I was sending my Heating & A/C techs to different types of colleges so they could be certified as AC specialists, heating specialists, or HVAC duct specialists. I was trying to make sure I had at least a single specialist to cover anything that would come up in our Heating & A/C corporation. The only thing that was actually missing for me, was someone who would be able to go into a household & help people decide what type of Heating & A/C device would be best for their homes. I needed a Heating & A/C business license… Not being a certified Heating & A/C business owner, I thought this would be a fantastic thing for me to get into. I looked into getting classes in becoming an HVAC business owner, & I entirely took numerous of those classes. Unluckily, being an HVAC business owner was not something I totally wanted to do. I only had the desire to service the heating & air conditioning devices. Now, I am back to the beginning, & hoping that I can talk a single of our professionals into going back to college & getting their Heating & A/C device license. I’m sure that I can get at least a single of our Heating & A/C techs to go back to college, especially once I tell them that I’m going to pay for everything. Of course, knowing that I have a tech who can measure households, look at the property, & get the input from the patron & help them make a decision on what type of Heating & A/C device they need will be a major plus for me.
