I’ve decided to embrace my inner bird and fly south for the Winter time this year.
- Whenever the weather starts cooling off around here, I beginning thinking about how much I hate the chilly weather.
I have been living here for a long time now, and I suppose I’ve lasted through almost 20 winters in this site. Here, the temperature starts cooling off around the first week of October, and then it’s chilly chilly and snowing until April or May! Both of us usually have snow on the ground at Easter if that tells you anything. It unquestionably gets ancient occasionally, and I am ready for a change. I started thinking about moving south last year whenever my furnace went on the blink while in the middle of winter. All of the local Heating and A/C companies were booked up and I could not get my furnace repaired for almost 2 weeks. During that time frame, I sat by the fireplace in the home office with my space heating system jammed in next to me. It was a terrible 2 weeks, and I decided right then that I was not gonna live this way any longer. That’s when I started thinking about moving somewhere that has a warmer weather conditions. Once I transfer to a warmer site, I will not have to worry about my furnace ever again! I suppose that having air conditioner will be the trade off in this situation, but I am willing to make that change at this point. I assume there just comes a point in your life where you get sleepy of the same ancient thing over and over! Right now, I just want something different.
