If I could just get more time to maintain the house, I wouldn’t be nearly as busy out on the weekends when I should be unwinding from a busy work week
I never knew that being a husband & a father would be so hard. I inspected younger siblings when our parents weren’t around & assumed it would be something prefer an extension of that. However, it’s a lot harder when you have to work a full time task while also taking care of a house & its appliances prefer the heating & cooling system. But then your spouse & teenagers have to come before both of those things, making life hard & complicated. I can’t ignore a sick child who is apartment from school & desperately needs a parent to take care of them. And if my spouse is sick as well, that means I have to take care of everyone whether I want to or not. This is a strenuous balancing act when I work a task that is always asking me to do more for the family even though they’re all aware of my situation at home. If I try to take a day off from work because my teenagers need me to take them to a school event, my boss gives me rolled esure while begrudgingly giving me the PTO. I recognize that I should go out on my own & start my own business, however that would likely consume even more of my time than my modern task. If I could just get more time to maintain the house, I wouldn’t be nearly as busy out on the weekends when I should be unwinding from a busy work week. This is an old house & things prefer the air conditioning unit need usual maintenance or they‘re going to break. The people I was with and I don’t have currency for a new air conditioning unit or furnace right now, so the old a singles need to last as long as possible.
