Sometimes people ask me why I chose to live in the North.
Well, for starters, I was sick of being overheated all the time.
I couldn’t tell you how many times my air conditioning system broke down in the hot season down south. I probably would have been alright if I opted for regularly HVAC system maintenance, but I always tried to take care of things on my own. When the weather was brutally hot, I honestly just couldn’t take it anymore. I swore that I would leave to a much more cooler climate, and that’s exactly what I did. Of course, where I live in the North, the weather still gets pretty hot during the summer season, but it’s not nearly as long as the hot season down south. This is something I can deal with, and honestly, I kind of like the winter season. I like being able to experience cool weather for a change, but all the shoveling and dealing with ice admittedly takes some getting used to. It’s great though because as long as I get regular service to my HVAC system in my home in the North, I don’t have anything to worry about. One thing I learned to get though was a nice humidifier. In the winter season, it’s a good move to use a humidifier to keep the air from being overly dry. It also helped to make the air feel warmer so that I can lower the temperature control a little bit and save money on my utility bill! I love living in the North.
