Might change over to a washable air filter

He’s only been using the washable air filter for 6 weeks, but hasn’t had any problems with it

I live in an area where the pollen levels gets real bad. No matter who you are, you can’t escape the thick brown dust that covers everything in sight here, but because of this, I have to upgrade our air filters a ton in the Springtime. It only takes a short amount of time for our cooling filter to get covered in dust from the pollen coming inside. I’m just thankful for air filters that keep that congestion out of our home! My siblings are both undoubtedly great at reminding me to check our air filter plus helping me update it every few weeks. If it weren’t for those guys, my home energy bills would skyrocket plus I would’ve disfigured our Heating & A/C idea a long time ago, however recently, My brother said he changed over to a washable air filter. He was trying to be more smart about saving plus save a little dough in the long haul. When I asked him about it, he told me that a washable air filter was the same as disposable kind. The only exception was that it could be washed plus used for a few months before disposing of it. It cost him more upfront, but he’d save a little cash in total. He’s only been using the washable air filter for 6 weeks, but hasn’t had any problems with it. It takes a little more work to clean it rather than tossing plus putting in a new one. But it does seem like a better option.
