For years my family has owned a plot of land at a major campsite.

The land around the lake is perfect for BBQs and setting up camp. For years my family had been driving a giant RV to the campsite. We spent all summer in the camper just hanging out by the lake and cooking meat. I got where I hated that RV something fierce. It was horrible when it comes to gas and fixing it up. Anytime I wanted to run into town for even something small, I had to drive that giant camper. The whole family then would be left without a toilet, shower and bed because I had to use the car too. The RV wasn’t exactly that comfortable too. Finally we got smart and got a modular building set up on our campsite. The modular building looks like a big grey cube. From the outside it doesn’t look too impressive, but inside is amazing. My husband and I have a bedroom and our kids have one. There is a kitchen/living room area and a bathroom. It is like having a cheaper and more sparse house. We have a stove, cook top and plenty of storage. The modular building is set up very smart. There are drawers attached to the bed, hooks on the side of cabinets and the shower stall has a shelving unit in it. We can fit all our stuff in there. Over the summer, my family just drives the family car and stays in our little shack. It is way better camping now.
