I was looking for a residential heating and air conditioning professional last week.
They were supposed to be delivering my new central air conditioner component Tuesday afternoon, but they hadn’t yet arrived.
Three hours past the time of arrival, I was really distraught that something had gone wrong. When I called the heating and air conditioning dealer, they assured me the A/C component was on the truck plus it would soon be there. I thanked her plus told her I would try to be patient. An hour later, my patience was at its end, plus I wanted my air conditioner unit. I got a phone call from the heating and air conditioning professional, who told me they would be arriving in about fifteen minutes. They were stuck in a traffic jam because of an accident, plus they had no cell reception. I understood how that could happen in our area, however you could go ten feet inside the house plus lose reception. Another hour later, the truck pulled up plus it was empty. I flew out of the house, plus demanded to know where the A/C component was. The professional got out of the van plus told me it was in the back. She didn’t finish the sentence since she was looking in the back of the truck, plus it was empty. Somewhere between the accident plus getting here, the air conditioner had fallen off the truck. She called the office, only to be told someone had found it, but the A/C component was destroyed, plus it would take a week to order another one. I couldn’t even tell who was more frustrated; me or the heating and air conditioning professional.
