My air conditioner won’t turn on and I can’t really figure out why.
I’m not really a smart person when it comes to things that are mechanical or electrical.
I have never had any training when it comes to things like that. I took some shop classes back when I was in high school, but I never got any further than that when it comes to heating and cooling systems. These days, now that I own my own home, I kind of wish that I had taken some classes in or gotten my certification in the HVAC profession. I mean, even if I never went into business as an HVAC professional or worked as a technician, at least I would know something about the air conditioning system and the furnace in my own house. I hate feeling like I am completely ignorant when it comes to my own heating and cooling system, but that’s unfortunately how it is. I am not one of those people who does well in the summertime without having an air conditioner, and since I have no clue how to fix anything, I decided to call up one of the HVAC companies near my house. I really hate to have to pay for an expensive air conditioning repair, but I don’t really have much of an alternative at this point. I looked online to see if I could find a do it yourself video of how to fix an A/C, but I’m honestly afraid to mess around with it too much. I think I would probably make the issues worse!
