My daughter’s art class hasn’t been going on, but she doesn’t mind

She said that all the people there calls the art room “the meat locker,” because the temperature in that room is constantly chilly

My daughter’s art class hasn’t been going on lately because of all of the shutdowns across the country, however i thought that she would be pretty frustrated about it, but she hasn’t entirely seemed to mind as much as I thought she would. I asked her why she wasn’t entirely frustrated about missing her classes, & she said that it was because of the malfunctioning heating system in her classroom, and apparently, the heating system in the art room had been acting up for the past few weeks, & she had been getting weary of it! She said that when the temperature outside was entirely cold, the heating hardly ever came on in the room. She & her fellow classmates would sit there shivering & wishing for the heating to start blowing out of the air vents in the ceiling. She said that it was easily distracting from the creative process to be so cold all the time. I had no system that there was an issue at her school with the heating system, & I told her that I would have mentioned it to someone in the office if I had known, but my child said that all the people at the entire school was aware of the heating issue in the art room, though. She said that all the people there calls the art room “the meat locker,” because the temperature in that room is constantly chilly. I laughed when she told myself and others that! Who wants to learn about art inside of a refrigerator? When classes finally resume, I suppose I will donate a space heating system to put in the classroom.
