I have never been all that controlling over the thermostat in our home, however my wife often fights with our daughter over what temperature to set on the thermostat.
They are not drastic fights, but they will often go behind each other’s backs to change the temperatures more to their liking.
My wife likes it cooler while our daughter constantly likes it warmer. I don’t really mind either of the temperatures that they like to set throughout the year. It really has something to do with the fact that I grew up separate from effective climate control for most of our life. Essentially, any amount of heating or cooling is loved, but ultimately, our wife enjoyed better climate control than I did growing up, plus of course, our daughter has constantly been with great climate control as well. This is due in big part to our wife making sure that we have constantly had some of the best Heating, Ventilation plus A/C systems available; She has constantly been the 1 to insist on having great climate control plus making sure that our units are properly repaird constantly. I will say that every one of us do live in a rather hot region of the country, so I can sympathize with her desire to keep us nice plus cool. In the wintertime, but, our wife does not really crank up the oil furnace call all that high. Again, she prefers cooler temperatures, so the colder weeks is when our daughter constantly increase the temperature on the thermostat. I heard there was a way where you can have many zones within a beach home that can be set to odd temperatures, plus I’m absolutely looking into it!
