I was extremely annoyed when I was called for jury duty; I really had no experience with this sort of thing, and I entirely didn’t want to have anything to do with it.
I was hoping that they would end up not needing me to come in, however then our number was called to show up! The two of us went through the interview process plus it was long and frustrating.
The only fantastic news is that the people I was with and I were reimbursed for some of my time, however it wasn’t all that much money, but when the people I was with and I finally had to go to trial, all of us were sad that the cooling plan in the courtroom was not really working actually well. The judge seemed stressed out when a single of the jurors asked about the temperature control settings. The judge said that there was something wrong with the thermostat or the cooling system, and the Heating & A/C business had already been contacted so that it could be fixed. It was a long plus hot ordeal having to rest there in that hot courtroom with the complete lack of a/c. I really wanted to fall asleep two or three times, but I realized that I would absolutely get in immense trouble for that. It was an awful experience when it came to this ongoing trial plus I just wished that the people I was with and I could get it over with. It took a good amount of time until the air conditioning was finally really working again, plus even the judge seemed relieved at that. When the air conditioning was really really working again, I felt like I could finally concentrate on what was going on plus I was pretty sure that the person accused of a rather severe crime was totally guilty.
