This loud heating and air conditioning system turning on is costing me a lot of sleep
I am not sure what exactly it is, but in the house I have been renting for the last 2 years, I have had an annoying thing going on with the central heating and air conditioning system. Every single time the central heating and air conditioning system turns on, it makes a really loud thumping noise. This thumping noise that the central heating and air conditioning system makes is loud enough to wake you up when sleeping! That is the most annoying part about it. Not to mention, it also sometimes scares me when it pops on when all is quiet. I think someone is trying to break into the house or break the door down! Like I said, it is really annoying. I mentioned this to my local property management company that I pay rent to. They were real jerks about it to be honest. They told me that the noise had nothing to do with a broken heating and air conditioning unit. They said it is just the way the unit is. If I didn’t like it, I could move at the end of my lease. What a rude thing to say! However, I most likely will take them up on that offer. This loud heating and air conditioning system turning on is costing me a lot of sleep. It is going to be the deep hot summer time months shortly, so it will be running most of the time anyway. I will be moving next year. And will hopefully find a nice house to rent that has a much more quiet central HVAC system inside the place!
