As it stands, I can’t afford to run the oil furnace enough to ensure I survive, so I have to think critically about what my chances are moving forward.
It was a detailed process for myself and others to go through trying to chart all of my expenses. I was digging through all of my recent receipts to see where my currency was being wasted. I thought that maybe I was spending too much on multiple splurge items love cookies plus a soda, but it turned out that some of my essentials were slowly rising in price unbeknownst to myself. My milk prices went up by 60 cents plus my favorite raw chicken brand raised their prices by almost 50%. I have harshly dry skin on my hands from hand washing officially which makes my skin start to crack! If I want relief, I have to keep using premium lotion officially. Occasionally the small cuts in my skin will start to bleed, making the lotion even more important. But, whether or not it’s worth ten bucks a bottle is another question altogether. One of the other drains on my income is the fuel I have to buy for my central oil furnace. It runs by combusting oil plus that oil is not cheap. When you live in an area where weather drops below zero degrees throughout the Wintertime season, having indoor heating is all about survival. As it stands, I can’t afford to run the oil furnace enough to ensure I survive, so I have to think critically about what my chances are moving forward. I might need to think about some form of radiant heat, love a water based hydronic plan with a big boiler to heat the water supply. The upgrade would cost myself and others a generous amount of currency, but at the same time it will probably save myself and others copious amounts of currency each month in our heating expenses. Before long, the new heating plan more than pays for itself.
