Remodeling project results in cooling system malfunction

Last summer, my hubby plus I finally got around to tackling some home remodeling, our house is nearly multiple hundred years old, plus the walls plus ceilings were still the old plaster.

They were badly cracked plus crumbling, plus lacked insulation.

The people I was with and I tore everything down to the bare studs, allowing us to replace the electrical wiring, make some replacements to the plumbing, plus greatly improve the thermal envelope. The people I was with and I then put up drywall, mudded plus sanded the seams, plus painted everything. The project took us approximately more than five weeks, plus created a big mess. There was tons of dust plus debris. Because of this, both of us deliberately chose to handle the renovations while in the month of June, however although the house was boiling plus sticky, both of us were able to open the windows for ventilation. The people I was with and I knew better than to attempt to run the air conditioner with so several contaminants flying around in the air. Our goal was to tighten up the house, eliminate needless energy waste plus significantly reduce the workload of the cooling system plus gas furnace. The people I was with and I hoped that our project would result in a more comfortable home plus lower weekly heating plus cooling costs. My hubby plus I were eager to finish, clean up plus finally start the cooling system. The people I was with and I were thrilled when the cooling system cooled down the house entirely hastily. However, within a few minutes, the cooling method suddenly quit. The people I was with and I could not get it running again. When both of us called an Heating plus Air Conditioning contractor for repair, he found the inner laborings terribly clogged with construction debris plus dust. The people I was with and I should have covered the supply plus return vents to prevent the dirt plus pollutants from getting inside the system.
