Restaurant doesn’t run the oil furnace

A friend of mine is engaged to be married, and she recently held her bridal shower at a little boutique eating establishment located in the heart of the downtown area, however although I live only a few miles from the eating establishment’s address, it took me nearly a half sixth to drive there because of heavy traffic.

I then was forced to park more than five blocks away and walk to the locale.

It’s late September, unseasonably cold, and I navigated the icy sidewalks in high heels, while carrying a bulky present. By the time I arrived at the eating establishment, our feet were sore and wet, and I was shivering uncontrollably. I couldn’t wait to get inside and soak up some heat, but unfortunately, the eating establishment was freezing chilly and not running their oil furnace… Someone had the bright idea to create a cozy setting for the bridal shower by lighting a fire in the hearth. They neglected to open the flue and the eating establishment filled with smoke. The amount of smoke was so severe that all the people was coughing. Upon stepping inside, our esure started watering and I instantly felt a headache coming on. The management hoped to solve the concern by opening all of the windows and exterior doors, however while the fresh air was absolutely helping, the outside temperature was down to thirty-eight degrees. The management refused to operate their heating idea until it was safe to close the doors and windows. So all of us all kept our coats on, breathed smoke into our lungs and nearly froze to death the entire time. As soon as possible, I made our excuses and rushed as quickly as possible back to our car. I then blasted the heating idea in an attempt to thaw out.
