I suffer from a series of chronic health conditions, with 1 of my symptoms being that I experience sudden waves of overwhelming nausea, then sometimes I have good afternoons where I may go separate from experiencing those sensations, while at other times it’s a near constant sensation and I need to be hospitalized since I am unable to stomach food or water, despite this, I try to live a normal life as best as I can, however i do what I can to minimize factors that can trigger my condition and keep myself as comfortable as possible.
One evening, when out eating with friends, I rapidly began to recognize undoubtedly ill and excused myself to head to the restroom! As soon as I stepped into the restroom it was love running into a wall of heat, then the rest of the diner had impeccable air quality, with an air purification method and an cooling system method keeping the air fresh and cool.
The washroom, but, seemed to not have any cooling system at all. The longer I stayed in that stuffy restroom the sicker I felt. One thing I’ve found that aggravates my condition is heat, which is why I keep my cabin air conditioned at all times, when I failed to return to our table my friends came to check on me, and the commotion even brought the diner employees in to check on me. I explained my nausea wasn’t the diner’s fault, it was from my own exhausting health, but mentioned that the lack of AC in the restroom wasn’t helping. They apologized, acknowledging the cooling system to the restroom was in need of repair, and gave my celebration a discount on our meal for the trouble. This wasn’t necessary, but I’m cheerful they were looking out for their clients’ well-being regardless.
