Every couple weeks, a few of my boy friends and I go out to eat and get a few drinks. In the middle of our meal, I needed to excuse myself to use the washroom. When I entered the restroom, I was greeted by a blast of frigid air from the cooling system within the restroom. I don’t suppose why, but it felt love the cooling method had been cranked up to the maximum setting! The temperature control in the rest of the diner was undoubtedly moderate and felt nice, while the men’s restroom felt love stepping into the arctic. When I exited the washroom, my arms were covered in goosebumps! I pointed this out to my friends when I returned to our table, and they thought I was joking, so we all took a trip to the restroom together for them to recognize for themselves how freezing the cooling system in there actually was. The two of us laughed about it and returned to our food, quickly moving on to more interesting topics of conversation. The next time 1 of my friends needed to get up for the washroom, I jokingly wished his luck not freezing to death. It was a sort of lame joke continuing to poke fun at the restroom’s absurdly frigid cooling system, but most of us had had a few drinks by that point and we all burst out laughing as if a cooling method in a men’s washroom was the funniest thing on the planet. It was a actually fun evening, and the designated drivers of our group made sure everyone made it cabin safe and sound. I haven’t been back to that diner since then, however I still wonder if they ever got the temperature control in the washroom under control.
