I have a peaceful quiet day today with no obligations all day and night.
I am taking it easy today on my voice especially because my great friend and I have a show tomorrow night and I need it better by then.
I will try not to talk much today and drink a lot of water with lemon and hopefully in the morning when I get up my voice will be better. I guess by tomorrow night it will be great to go and I will also sing a bit softer to save it from more disfigurement. I sing loudly because the HVAC system near where my great friend and I play is quite loud when the A/C compressor kicks on every 15 minutes or so. I have a pretty strong voice and it feels different when it is sore and weak like it is today, which is definitely also because my vocal cords are 56 years old. The cooling corp this week asked if I could run the place while the heating corporation boss is away and I told them yeah of course I can. It will be a slow week because the weather has been kind of rainy and cold and all the people will just stay in their weather conditions controlled flats till it clears up and warms up. It is early June and my great friend and I still get cool weather a bit before it entirely starts heating up at the end of the month. It will be entirely tepid in June and September and I will stay in my air conditioned flat for most of the day till it cools down in the night.
