Something that I have definitely learned over the years, is that nobody is perfect. We all mess up time to time and we make foolish decisions sometimes. I was very happy when I finally decided to purchase a home, but I realized soon after that I was making a bunch of mistakes with being a new homeowner. First of all, I was totally neglecting my HVAC system. I didn’t actually realize the extent of my neglect until my parents came over to my place for dinner the one time. My father was saying that my air quality was flat out terrible, and I needed to get a hold of an HVAC company to take good care of my HVAC system troubles. This was definitely something I didn’t think about, but then I knew that I had to start taking excellent care of the things in my home. I was so naive thinking that everything was going to just be fine and things would sort themselves out. That’s not how life works and I should have known better than that! So I listened to my father and I got a hold of the local HVAC company in my area. The HVAC worker who came over was very professional and kind. He didn’t even give me a hard time about neglecting my HVAC system, but he did let me know that it was common especially for new homeowners. He easily suggested that I get enrolled in an HVAC system maintenance plan. He filled me in on the details and let me know that I could actually save a sizable amount of money if I went that route!
