My neighbor asked me to keep an eye on her home while he was on vacation.

However, after a few days, I went to check on his home and saw that someone had broken into it through the window air conditioning device. They unattached the window unit plus crawled into the home plus gone through all of his stuff. I couldn’t tell what was missing, and I felt terrible calling him to tell him what had happened. He decided to come home early so he could talk to the police plus take an inventory of his things. Some electronics were taken plus there were a few other things missing. My spouse offered to help my neighbor install a ductless mini cut air conditioning system plus heater, so it wouldn’t happen again. The ductless mini-cut system does not require an open window, where a thief could climb through. However, it’s similar to a window device, with a compressor located outside and thin hoses to direct air back inside the home through the walls. My neighbor took him up on my spouses offer plus he also had his window substituted with a locking window. I’m so ecstatic that he’s not mad at me over the breakin, because it really wasn’t my fault. I’m really ecstatic that he’s letting my spouse install the ductless mini-cut system as well. Now, his house will be much safer. I’m hoping he can resume his trip when this is all done.
