Summer is our busy time and that means lots of moola

In the heating and cooling industry, the busy time is usually reflected in the weather.

In regions where the weather is extremely cold during the winter season, there are significant spikes in furnace and heating equipment sales and repairs.

In regions where the weather is extremely warm during the summer season, there are also spikes in air conditioning equipment sales and dehumidifier purchases. Around here, summer is the busiest time of the year. I live in the southern region, where the mosquitoes and cockroaches are big enough to carry your dog away. Summer begins around the middle of March and it doesn’t end until December. That’s a long time to deal with hot temperatures and humid weather. It’s currently the beginning of July, and the real feel temperature was close to 120° the last 3 days. Most of our customers have already performed and air conditioning service or tune-up. It’s imperative in this region, and it can save the average homeowner hundreds of dollars in repairs over the lifetime of your equipment. Summer is a great time for me personally, because I work in the heating and cooling industry. I work overtime each week in the summer, and my paychecks are really fat. Last summer I made enough money to buy a new boat. My wife wants to buy a jet ski this year, so I’m hoping for an extremely busy summer season. I might even do some extra work on the weekends. One of my friends just started a plumbing company, and that means a few heating cause every now and then.
