That component is okay

I would have sworn that I knew the ins & outs of Winter care for the northern part of the country, however I believe I was wrong! This year, our furnace stopped certainly working on me and I was out of sorts! I consistently make sure to keep it fresh, get it checked, & change the furnace filters, so I had no idea what the problem could be.

I live in the northern part of the country, so dealing with Winter climate is a typical thing for me. I was raised with long, chilly winters. We had full piles of snow. Most of the time, the ground is covered with many inches of ice for the entirety of the winter. Because every one of us live near the lake, there is constant lake effect snow and rain happening. As long as the weather is below the 32 degree point, which it almost consistently is, you can expect snow storms happening. I thought I knew all there was to know about furnace maintenance, shoveling a step, & scraping the ice off of truck windshields. I called our local heating & cooling dealership, & they sent over an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C serviceman as soon as they could. When the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C professional arrived, he didn’t see any problem with the indoor parts of the heating unit, however he said that it was coming from the outdoor device. Having endured the snowy winters all these days, I never would have imagined that the component was not fit to do so. So the years & years of snow & rain had finally weathered the technology.
