There are some people who just overdo something to an extent that is actually unbearable.

My spouse takes that to the extreme with her overwhelming love for air conditioning. Her thermostat preferences cause me to have to wear two sweatshirts just to find some semblance of warmth and comfort. If I want to get warm inside of my own house, I would be better off opening a refrigerator door to warm myself up. I am not sure how to curb this reliance on air conditioning, because she claims that she cannot be comfortable without the air conditioner. However, the electricity bill that we receive because of the constant use of our air conditioner is through the roof. The air conditioner is constantly running in the summer because the air conditioner cannot keep up with the heat outside, so it never gets down to temperature. I am not sure how to stop this problem, especially because I don’t want marital problems to come because of it. I called the local HVAC company and asked them what my options could be. The HVAC technician told me that I could install zone-controlled heating to allow me to have one area in the house to use my furnace or mild air conditioning. I definitely am tired of being freezing, so I could make one room my man cave and enjoy myself with my own HVAC preferences. Hopefully, my wife doesn’t get upset because I don’t want to spend time with her in the air-conditioned room.
