Until last weekend, I had never seen a portable shower, and i have seen lots of portable toilets, but I have never seen a portable plastic shower.
My friends as well as I went to a campground that recently opened up, but the campground has excellent access to the river.
It’s a single of the only locations on the south area of the river where the water is calm as well as easy for boats, kayaks, as well as canoes to enter. It’s a good location for kids to play because the water is shallow as well as often warmer than the rest of the river. The website for the river stated that there were full amenities including bathrooms as well as showers. I took my tent as well as went to the campground for the weekend. I was going to kayak the hardest area of the river the afternoon after I arrived, but I had some serious stomach concerns. I ate something while in the afternoon that did not agree with me as well as I was in the bathroom most of the night. The only bathroom available was a portable potty. The showers were the same. The campground boasted that they had all of the amenities that all of us needed, however portable showers as well as toilets did not seem like amenities to me! None of the buildings had a/c as well as it was genuinely tepid as well as humid. Inside of the buildings, without a/c it was about 140°. I thought I was going to pass out. I don’t recognize that Campground can boast amenities unless they put in some real buildings that have temperature control as well as facilities for more than a single person at a time. It’s bad enough not to have AC in the tent. I want to be cool when I go to the toilet.
