The Ceiling Fan Helps My HVAC System Work Better

We have been having a pretty hot Summer here so far, and I have been needing to somehow find a way to save energy due to my electric bills getting high this time of year.

I wasn’t even going to bother to look into ductless air conditioning systems, because to be honest with you, I have heard they save energy, but there’s no proof.

Basically, if I don’t personally know someone that can vouch for it, I don’t believe anything I read or hear elsewhere. So what I did figure out, was that if I run my central air conditioning system on a lower setting, and if I have both of my ceiling fans in the living room area running full blast, this will actually work to cool my home without having to run the central air conditioning system twenty four hours a day, seven days a week! I actually got this little energy savings tip from a friend of mine who mentioned that it worked for them in the past. Because there was no money involved to give it a try, I figured why not? The worst that could happen would be that the central air conditioning system would still need to be on all the time and I would not end up saving any money on my energy bills. Lucky for me, this trick actually worked! It all depends on the way your home is set up, and my home happened to be perfect for the energy savings tip that I got from my friend. I was very happy about it.
