The central a/c will be here in three afternoons.

I understand he didn’t deliberately lose the a/c, however it wasn’t his responsibility to make sure it was secured

Last week, I was to have a current air conditioning unit delivered, and from the time the air conditioning unit was placed on the delivery truck to travel fifteen miles to my home, it had gotten free and fell off the truck. I wasn’t delighted that it took almost six hours to get to the house, however there was a major accident that held up traffic for hours. When the HVAC business didn’t even know he had lost the air conditioning unit, I almost laughed; I was so incredibly miserable. He told me they were going to need to order another air conditioning unit, and it would take another week before it got delivered. Yesterday, I got a phone call telling me the a/c will be here in three afternoons. I’m wondering if the same HVAC business will be doing the delivery and set-up. I’m not actually blaming the HVAC business for losing the air conditioning unit, but he was the driver and responsible for it. Now, I am to acquire another AC unit in three afternoons. I’m just wondering if they will send the same HVAC business or another one. I understand he didn’t deliberately lose the a/c, however it wasn’t his responsibility to make sure it was secured. Shouldn’t he have been looking in the back of the truck, sometimes, to make sure the a/c hadn’t moved or become loose? I’m sure anyone would have some doubts and concerns about the business delivering the a/c if this had happened to them. It’s awful enough having these doubts now, and I have no idea how distraught I’ll be on the day it is to be delivered.
