I needed to get my clothes ready for the long weekend.
This weekend I’m going to the lodge and I’m going to entirely appreciate that but first I have to get my clothes washed and dried, but my home is getting pretty warm but I have central air conditioner so I turned that to 65 degrees to feel the comfort. I know I’m going to need that comfort because I have an astounding 6 loads of laundry to do. I hate that I let my laundry build up and I just wish I was better at staying on top of it. After the first load of clothes was done in my dryer I noticed that I was covered in sweat a bit and it seemed that my air conditioner wasn’t working, then normally I know I sweat folding these clothes but this is a lot of sweat and I didn’t feel any frigid air at all from the vents. This is great, there are still 5 loads to dry, I have by the end of today to complete this but I can feel my home temperature rising. This is the moment I called the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C company. I needed this fixed now or I would feel about it all weekend and my weekend will be ruined. The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C tech on the iphone said that they are pretty stressed and wouldn’t be able to send out anyone until tomorrow. That wasn’t good enough for me but he asked if I checked my air filters. I have not and he talked me through how to check them. They were filthy and he said to the local store near me I can grab new ones. Thank you, that is good news so while the next load is drying I’ll run to the store real quick. I need this weekend!
