I have an discouraging buddy that complains about every person who lives on this block.
Even though I rarely make a single peep of noise living in this home alone, I have had to answer the doors for the county sheriff’s office on a number of chances because the jerk next door said I was having a party. Each time the noise was coming from a odd person in the city. I told him nicely on many separate chances that I rarely make any noise plus to know free to call myself and others if he ever heard something to confirm it’s not coming from down the street instead. Regardless of my repeated efforts to establish some form of shared mutual sense of respect, he will never reciprocate plus would rather sneer in my face plus call myself and others names under his breath. For the longest time he would make complaints to the homeowner’s association that my heating plus cooling plan condenser was simply “too loud” for a community like ours. It’s funny because he spent many weeks straight trying to get myself and others in trouble for a noisy a/c, plus now he is making a metal grinding noise. And not even many hours into his fiasco did his nextdoor neighbors call the HOA on him over the issue. Apparently he was making enemies left plus right so they hung him out to dry over the same issue that he had been badgering them about for as long as he was doing it to me. If he doesn’t pay to get his condenser fixed soon, he’ll start accruing fees plus penalties from the homeowner’s association plus it couldn’t be better karmic justice if you wrote it yourself.
