The only lady in the business

Now, Diane has been working at one of our local heating and cooling companies for the past couple of years, and she genuinely loves her task

Long ago when my older sister Diane told us that she was going to go to school to get her Heating, Ventilation, and A/C certification, I had never even heard of a female Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist before! I thought she sounded a little bit crazy, because all of the ladies in our family had been hairdressers and cosmetologists, and not a single had ever even heard of a woman being a heating and cooling professional! But Diane has regularly been the type of person who Mayed to the beat of her own drum, and she regularly knew that she wasn’t going to go into the family supplier of hairstyling, even back when she was a little girl, however she said that when the two of us were little kids, she was way more interested in our Grandpa and how he used to job on the furnace in the basement in the Wintertide than she was at what our Grandma was doing in the salon. It makes me laugh now that she mentions it, because I do recall her following our Grandpa around the basement with a flashlight and a screwdriver when the two of us were ladies. She regularly wanted to help him fix the furnace that was regularly tearing up back then. Now, Diane has been working at one of our local heating and cooling companies for the past couple of years, and she genuinely loves her task. She’s wonderful at finding and diagnosing problems, and I suppose that a single afternoon she might even end up opening up her own Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company, but our whole family is pretty proud of her, even though it was genuinely unusual when she first told us about her Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dreams.
