One of the biggest things I worry about in the house is the health and safety of my children.
I absolutely love and adore my children. Sometimes they can be a real pain, but I would never trade them for anything in the world. My last child was born a year ago. She was a really big surprise for my husband and I. We thought we were done having children. It had been 10 years since we had children in the house and all of our baby stuff was gone. We didn’t have a crib or a bassinet or a stroller, or any idea that we were going to have another baby. My wife was worried about baby proofing the house, and she contacted a security company to install a fence and privacy gate at the top of the stairs. When our daughter started walking, we didn’t want to worry about her falling down the stairs. The baby gate at the top of the stairs was securely installed by a professional. We didn’t have anything to worry about once the baby gate was set up. The security company also installed a gate at the bottom of the stairs. The gates can be moved easily for an adult to walk through, but they are not easy for a child to manage. The security and fencing company also installed a special lock on the front door. An alarm chimes if the door is opened. Now that all of these security changes have been completed, my wife and I absolutely feel safe having another child in our home.
