There is No Skimping on HVAC Seasonal Maintenance

Don’t you sort of get tired of the whole “do you want fries with that” upsell with everything you buy? I sincerely hate it.

It takes every ounce of patience that I possess not to rip into a salesperson who won’t simply let me purchase what I came to purchase.

If I wanted all the added on stuff, I would have said so. It just never ends. That’s why I hesitated after our HVAC system was recently installed. My wife and I spent a lot of hours researching and doing our due diligence on the model of HVAC unit we wanted to replace our out of date one. We got with a certified HVAC contractor several times to discuss our options concerning our heating and cooling needs. This wasn’t one of those “just pick one” scenarios. We both knew that an HVAC upgrade is a serious household investment. That type of thing deserves time and attention. We finally reached an agreed upon HVAC model with all the options we wanted as well as a high SEER rating. Efficiency was at the top of our list. Our HVAC contractor was great. He streamlined the process and took care of the installation. The new HVAC unit was installed very professionally and the HVAC contractor made sure everything was in order before leaving the property. He encouraged me to call the office to set appointments for some factory specific fine tuning. So, I was a bit turned off when I made that call because the person on the other end immediately wanted to sign us up for the seasonal maintenance plan. However, I knew that seasonal maintenance is imperative so I gave in.
